I was walking in the Memphis area after my plane had a two hour delay. I heard that the close area to the airport was really fun and there were some cool places to look around and other places to eat at. I wanted to see if I could find a good place to get some fried green tomatoes or other local delicacy. We were running around looking for a good place to eat and we even found an ADT Memphis office but we did not find any place in particular to eat. I am a pretty outgoing person so I thought that I would ask a local for a good place to eat and my friend said that he thought it was going to be risky but I thought it was going to be okay. I asked the first person that we saw for a good place to go and eat. I was told that there was a great place across the street. I decided that we would try it.
When we first got there, I was not really sure what to expect. From the outside, it looked like it was just an old abandoned building. I could not believe or understand why someone would tell us to go there. We had to find the door that blended in with the brick facade. When we walked in, I could not believe the amount of people in this little Speakeasy. It was one of the most amazing places that I had ever seen, and you would never believe from the front all of the great things that were inside. I could tell that this place was a big secret and I could understand why. I would not want people from out of the area or general public in there, either.
